LG Officially Announced Which Phones Will Get Android 12 and Android 13

LG has announced a list of phones that will receive Android 12 and Android 13 updates, which means they will receive the most recent versions of Android Q and R. The list includes phones from last year, implying that owners of these phones will receive the most recent software update when it becomes available this fall.

The company’s most recent phone announcements are not on the list and will instead receive Android 12 updates because they were announced after Google released Android Q Beta 2 but before the final version was released.

The list demonstrates that LG intends to upgrade not only its luxury smartphones, such as the LG Velvet or LG Wing, but also its mid-range handsets, such as the LG K52, Q50, and others, with a future Android version. The devices listed below will all receive the next Android upgrade in the near future.

It is unclear how LG customers in other markets will react to this lineup of devices, which mostly comes from the company’s home country.

However, the news that LG will ship all of its new phones with Android 12 puts everyone else at ease – including Google. Many users are concerned about the security of their data due to the slow roll-out of security updates from other OEMs.

LG initiative with Android newest flavor (Android 13), it appears that things are finally getting back on track with manufacturers ensuring that your information is secure on both ends.
