What’s Google Mission in Africa?

To help Google realize their mission in Africa, you must have a passion for solving difficult problems as well as technical skills. Understanding how people across the continent use their phones on a daily basis, as well as the challenges they face, will be beneficial.

According to Google:

Africa will have 800 million internet users, accounting for one-third of the world’s under-35 population. Last year, Google’s CEO announced a $1 billion investment over the next five years in projects that will provide Africa with fast, reliable, and affordable internet.

Google aims to create useful products that help entrepreneurs and small businesses, which are the backbones of Africa’s economies. In keeping with this commitment, Google established an AI research center in Accra, Ghana, to aid in the development of useful innovations. The establishment of a product development center in Nairobi will be an extension of the same commitment.
